Forget mindfulness, stop trying to find yourself and start faking it

Leading Edge Seminars has offered many workshops on mindfulness and related ideas that are relevant to us and our clients. So why share with you an article that seems to question the usefulness of mindfulness?

The West has looked East for inspiration and wisdom. Buddhist ideas are increasingly accepted and discussed.

This article from The Guardian, looks to  Chinese masters and has many useful insights, including the suggestion that we stop “finding ourselves’.

Provocative stuff… and I believe many of our finest presenters like Ron Siegel, who will be presenting for us on the value of mindfulness in therapy in a couple of weeks would enjoy it as well.

It reminds us, I think to “be mindful” (!) of all new and useful ideas without looking deeper. This article does that.
