This 2-day on-demand course with renowned expert Bill Eddy is designed to provide mental health professionals and other practitioners with effective strategies for managing high-conflict personalities in various settings. While tailored for therapists and counsellors, this training is also invaluable for mediators, attorneys, and HR professionals.
Studies reveal that approximately 10% of adults worldwide have a personality disorder, with nearly half falling into Cluster B disorders. These include narcissistic, borderline, antisocial, histrionic, and paranoid personality disorders. Known for their dramatic, emotional, and erratic traits, individuals with these disorders often exhibit domineering, distrustful, and vindictive behaviours—frequently driving high-conflict dynamics in families, workplaces, and communities.
Gain a deeper understanding of the conflict dynamics associated with five key personality disorders—narcissistic, borderline, antisocial, histrionic, and paranoid. Learn about the brain science behind high-conflict behaviours and how these patterns impact families, workplaces, and communities. Bill Eddy also outlines four common mistakes professionals make when addressing these challenging dynamics and how to avoid them.
