Every week we get emails about Innovations in Psychotherapy Cancun 2027, and most of them are versions of the same ten questions. With Early Bird pricing ending October 15, 2026, here are the answers in one place — with links to the pages that hold the full detail.

1. What are the workshop dates?

Around those teaching days, every package covers seven nights at the resort, Saturday to Saturday — January 30 to February 6 for Week 1, and February 6 to 13 for Week 2. Those are the dates to book flights for if you want the full week. You are welcome to arrive later or leave earlier; the package price is based on the seven nights either way.

2. What does the package actually include?

Seven nights of all-inclusive accommodation at Dreams Jade Resort & Spa, plus registration in one five-day morning workshop for the week you choose.

All-inclusive there means:

• Unlimited à la carte dining, top-shelf spirits, juices and soft drinks
• 24-hour room service, pool and beach wait service, daily mini-bar refresh
• Housekeeping, activities, entertainment and Wi-Fi
• All taxes and gratuities — the prices on the site already include applicable taxes and fees
• Some optional extras at no charge — selected excursions and spa treatments

❌ Not included: flights and airport transfers

3. What does it cost, and is Early Bird still open?

Double and triple occupancy rates are listed on the pricing page — worth comparing if you’re travelling with someone.

4. Do I have to pay for all of it now?

5. Do I get CE credits, and will my college accept them?

🎓 16.25 CE hours per workshop

Canada: CCPA, OCSWSSW, OPQ, CAMFT, OAMFT, OAMHP, OACYC, OEATA
United States: APA, ASWB ACE, ACCME, ACPE, ANCC, and New York State for social workers, mental health counsellors and psychologists

To receive credit you’ll need to:

✅ Complete the course evaluation

6. What does a day actually look like?

🥂 Casual welcome reception on the Sunday

That structure is the whole point of the format: five consecutive mornings with one presenter, then time to let it settle — by the pool, in Puerto Morelos (a ten-minute taxi ride), or on a day trip to Tulum, Chichén Itzá, Xel-Há or Xcaret. 7. Can I bring my partner, or my kids?

🎓 At least one person in the booking must be registered for a workshop — the rest don’t

👶 Children: 0–2 free · 3–12 child rate · 13 and up adult rate
🏨 Room capacity: one king bed = 2 guests · two double beds = 4 guests (two adults plus two children, or three adults plus one child)
The resort has a long list of activities for children and teens.

8. Can I book the hotel myself, or stay somewhere cheaper?

No — the workshop and the seven nights are sold as one package, at negotiated group rates, and registration has to go through the Cancun site rather than the resort or a travel site. That’s what lets us hold the meeting space, coordinate the group, and support people on the ground.

🎫 Day pass: if you’re already in the area, it may be possible to attend on a resort day pass — currently USD $75 per adult, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, one for each day you attend, subject to resort availability. Ask us before you plan around it.

9. I’m travelling on my own. Is that awkward?

It really isn’t — a good share of the room comes solo, and the Sunday mixer and the shared morning schedule do most of the work.

🤝 Looking for a roommate? Send us your name and contact details and we’ll keep them on file to match you with another solo traveller. Matches aren’t guaranteed, and shared-room arrangements are made between the two participants.

10. What happens if my plans change?

The 20% deposit is non-refundable, but beyond that:

• Cancel by December 16, 2026 (Week 1) or December 23, 2026 (Week 2) — that’s 45+ days before arrival — and anything you’ve paid above the 20% is refunded.
• 15 to 45 days before arrival — a 50% penalty applies, or you can transfer the whole package to someone else, penalty-free, subject to availability and approval.
• Within 14 days — no refund, but the package can still be transferred.

✈️ How do I get from the airport? Dreams Jade is 36 km (22 miles) from Cancun International — about a 30-minute drive. We’ve negotiated discounted transfer rates with Amstar DMC, which you book directly with them in advance. Direct flights to Cancun run from most major Canadian and US cities, and February is peak season, so book early.

☀️ What’s the weather like? February is one of the best months to be there: daytime highs around 29°C (84°F), evenings around 21°C (70°F), low humidity. Bring a light sweater for the meeting rooms — they’re properly air conditioned.
